New Podcasts to Watch

Due to the Maximum coolness of Steve Middleton I have continued my search for shows currently doing good-old "sit down interview". I now have two wonderful offerings for you. Fire up your itunes, or juice, or whatever it is you use to catch podcasts, I've got three links for you.

The Sound of Young America
The show so good, Public Radio International picked it up about 3 months ago. Jesse Thorn did this stuff, pretty much out of his basement, Interviewing awesome people. And that's the point of the show, interviewing Awesome people. It's truly wonderful. Some recent Guests include: The Upright Citizen's Brigade, Ira Glass, Dan Deacon, Patton Oswalt, and They Might Be Giants. Depending on how much of a hipster you are, some names will mean more than others. This show is great, it's an audio broadcast, just wonderful.

The Smodcast
If you're a Kevin Smith Fan, hop on this shit, now. Kevin Smith and his Producer Scott Mosier Sit down and simply bullshit for an hour. Sometimes there's guests with Kevin like Jason Mewes or Kevin's wife, but it's always funny and good. If you don't like Kevin, then you won't care.

Tom Green Live
That's right, if you didn't know, Tom Green has been producing a full hour long VIDEO program. Interviewing some of the coolest people around right now. Some recent guests include: Judah Friedlander, Bob Saget, Tim and Eric, and Gene Simmons. But that's just a start, believe me. The show is fun, and get in on this early, it's going into syndication in January.
